Myth 1: Ceramic coatings protect against scratches and dents
Ceramic coatings offer superior paint protection against harmful UV rays, bird droppings, bug splatters, tree sap, and other environmental and human-made contamination. These are extremely protective characteristics; however, ceramic coatings do NOT protect against scratches, physical damage, or dents. The Process of Installing a Ceramic Coating at ShineCo

The first step in the Jules ceramic coating installation process is a thorough hand washing and decontamination followed by a full vehicle assessment to pinpoint every paint defect and discrepancy that may exist. Using a two-bucket hand washing method with microfiber towels, your ride cannot have a safer cleaning process done to it. Our full clay bar decontamination combined with an iron/fallout remover decontamination is designed to mechanically and chemically remove all embedded dirt, debris, and environmental contamination that a traditional wash does not remove - an essential prep process to ensure a clean and clear surface for proper ceramic coating bonding.
2) Paint Correction Options
Depending on the condition of your ride’s paint, two different levels of paint correction are available prior to the application of your selected Ceramic Coating. This process entails using a cutting compound and polisher to lightly abrade away any defects in the clear coat of your automobile’s paint, targeting scratches, swirl marks, and other light but noticeable defects. 3) Hand-Applied Ceramic Coatings
